Silk Board: Traffic diversions

The following traffic diversions have been made in and around the Silk Board junction to ensure free vehicular movement.


The diversions will be in effect for a week, once the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike begins installation of RCC hume pipelines at a drainage on a road between HSR Layout 14th main and Madivala Main Road.

Light motor vehicles (cars, jeeps and two-wheelers): Vehicles from Mico-layout and Jayadeva, going towards Koramangala, can take a left turn at BTM 16th main junction to reach Gangotri bar junction. The vehicles can move on Maruthinagar Main Road to reach Sarjapura junction and to join Koramangala and check post.

Heavy vehicles (BMTC buses, factory buses and tempos): vehicles from Mico-layout and Jayadeva, towards Madivala and Koramangala, can move on BTM 16th Main junction, BTM 29th Main junction and Karanth junction, take right turn at Silk Board junction to reach Rupena Agrahara, take a U-turn, move on Silk Board flyover to reach Madivala and Koramangala.

Light and heavy vehicles: All types of light and heavy vehicles from Agara and HSR 14th Main Road can move on BTM Agara tank road, take left turn at Automart junction to reach Jakkasandra and Koramangala Kripanidhi junction to move towards Madivala-Koramangala.

Vehicles from HSR Layout (Mallige Junction & 5th Main) can take left turn at HSR Layout Mallige Junction, use the service road, take the free left at at Silk Board junction towards Hosur Road, reach Rupena Agrahara, take U-turn, move on to Silk Board flyover towards Madivala-Koramangala.
