A visiting faculty member at the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media (IIJNM) at Kumbalgodu,Professor Brent Hurd, was killed in a road accident on Saturday evening.

A visiting faculty member at the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media (IIJNM) at Kumbalgodu was killed in a road accident on Saturday evening. Professor Brent Hurd (40), who was from Washington in the US, was fatally knocked down by a BMTC bus when he was riding a bicycle at Ramohalli gate near Balagangadhar Swamiji Residential School near Bidadi. Hurd was returning to his flat after a swim at the Country Club.
