Light to moderate rainfall is expected in the next two days, after which the showers will increase, according to Director, Meteorological Department A Muthuchami.
In the last two days, while Bangalore has been getting rainfall, other areas have not been receiving much rain.
The normal rainfall for September is 136.7 mm and total rainfall for August upto now has already crossed that mark with 145 mm. September will see excess rainfall, he said. In the recent past, the city has seen showers starting in the evening. This pattern will continue in September and October according to the Director.
