KDA for issuing ordinance

The Kannada Development Authority (KDA) will suggest to the government that it promulgate an ordinance to tide over the High Court order on the medium of instruction in unaided schools.

Speaking to reporters at the sidelines of a convention of the cultural cell of the BJP, MLC and KDA Chairman Mukyamantri Chandru said he would place the proposal before the government at the meeting convened by the education department to discuss the ramifications of the HC verdict, in Bangalore on Tuesday.

On reservation for Kannadigas in IT industries, Chandru said he would hold discussions with top officials of labour, law, and finance departments in this regard.
