The long-pending demand to shift Race Course in the heart of the City, got a shot in the arm on Sunday when CM B S Yeddyurappa said that he has “set his eyes on it”.

Meanwhile, Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP B K Hariprasad in a letter, urged the CM to shift the Race Course to Jakkur Flying School on the outskirts of the City.

At present, the Race Course is extremely crammed following acquisition of land continuously by the BBMP over the past few years, for constructing flyovers and widening of roads.
