New railway booking counter at Cantonment

BANGALORE: The new Computerised Passenger Reservation Centre (PRS) at the Bangalore Cantonment Railway Station of the South Western Railway was opened for public on Wednesday.

The centre, which was shifted from the Ground Floor to First Floor, will have better passenger facilities and will have two extra counters. According to a press release issued by the South Western Railway, the new venue which was inaugurated by Member Electrical, Railway Board, Sukhbir Singh, has better lighting as well as seating arrangements. The hall has a centralised air conditioning system and the token system for booking and assistance booths would be introduced shortly.
