Bangalore in Kennys grip!

Bangalore in Kennys grip!

Bangalore, dhns:

Many a Bangalorean was left breathless as Soprano saxophonist Kenny G performed at the UB City on Monday night.

The event was organised to celebrate Black Dog’s 125th anniversary. Kenny, with his trademark hair and young looks, became one with crowd as he moved through his audience.
The legendary singer, who had sang his way into the Guinness Book, was accompanied by a five-member ensemble.

Every piece, heard and unheard, was soul-soothing. Kenny won many hearts with his Kannada, of which he claimed to be a master and his one-liners evoked many laughs. The ease with each he played the sax and the relationship he shared with the instrument were all too evident.

Apart from his old numbers, the audience tasted ‘Rhythm and Romance’, his latest album. As he performed his last number, it was evident his fans wanted more. But there was the promise of coming back for a longer visit, Kenny style.
