People began queueing at the distribution centre from morning, but many returned home as the deployed officials whose only job for the day, told them of the power failure
When Deccan Herald spoke to a voter at the BBMP office at Ward 50 in VV Puram, office he said, “ The officials should have made alternate arrangements because we can’t come back tomorrow as it is working day.”

When the employee of the Macro Infotech Pvt Ltd, which is issuing the voter-ID had the job of issuing Voter-ID Card was asked about the same, he said that a request for a generator had been placed with his bosses.

Neither the BBMP officials on election duty nor the authorities of Macro Infotech were available for comments.
