City to get more rain

Thunder showers continued to lash several parts of the City on Tuesday. It began raining in the central parts of the City around 7 pm and lasted about 20 minutes.

City recorded 2.3 mm rainfall, while Airport and Yelahanka areas received no rainfall. A tree fell on Chord Road near National School in Rajajinagar. Barring this lone incident, there were no reports of damage to property.

The City recorded a maximum of 29.6 degrees Celsius temperature, while the minimum was 20.4 degrees Celsius.
Motorists had a tough time negotiating the rain and heavy traffic, particularly during peak hours. Weather is likely to be partly cloudy all over the City in the next 24 hours. Rain or thunder showers are likely to occur in the evening.

As far as the State is concerned, rain is likely to occur at many places over coastal Karnataka and interior Karnataka, said Met department sources.
