Protests will throw traffic out of gear

Bangalore: With three organizations s t a g i n g protests on Friday, motorists better avoid the central parts of the city till noon.
Other than the KRV protest, farmers will also hold a protest to demand a hike in sugarcane price. Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) will begin its protest march at 11 am from the City Railway Station to Bannappa Park.
In another protest, autorickshaw drivers will stage a protest near Indiranagar RTO office at 11 am to demand a hike in auto fare. The stretch from Mysore Bank to Maharani’s junction, and from thereon to Basaveshwara Circle, will be worst-hit.
Roads to avoid
All roads leading to Raj Bhavan.
Palace Road, Sankey Road, Race Course Road, Jayamahal Road, Queen’s Road, Minsk Square and Old Madras Road.
