The underpass construction on T Chowdaiah Road was affected for a few hours on Thursday as a sewerage line of BWSSB got damaged. However, it did not affect the work to a larger extent as workers noticed the damage and plugged it. Soil-nailing and plastering of side walls of the underpass continued throughout the day.

The Palike officers maintained that the work will be completed within the time frame announced by Commissioner Dr S Subramanya. The underpass would be inaugurated by January end.
