Bangalore recorded a minimum temperature of 8.4 degree Celsius on Thursday which is said to be the lowest ever in the month of November during the last 20 years,according to M B Rajegowda, Professor of Agrometerology at University of Agricultural Sciences....

Winter seems to have set in quite early this year.
There is a nip in the air and the City has been experiencing chilly weather for the last couple of days with minimum temperatures varying between 14 to 17 degree Celsius.
According to M B Rajegowda, Professor of Agrometerology at University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore recorded a minimum temperature of 8.4 degree Celsius on Thursday. This is said to be the lowest ever in the month of November in the last 20 years. Usually, November does not record a minimum temperature of less than 14 degrees.
Last year was an exception when Bangalore recorded a minimum temperature of 12 degrees during this month.
According to the Meteorological Centre, moderate cold wave conditions persisting in north interior and south interior Karnataka are responsible for the present chill. Chilly winds will continue to hit Bangalore on Friday too. The city is likely to experience a minimum temperature of 13 degrees whereas the airport area will have a minimum temperature of 12 degrees.
