Nok Air, the truly Thai low fare airline, today announced its first international flight, with the launch of the first Thai budget carrier to fly to Bangalore, India.

Tagged the "Shopper's Airline", Nok Air flies to Bangkok, a shopper's paradise, enriched by its cultural sites and adventurous nightlife, making it one of the world's most popular tourist <> destinations. Nok Air will give the Indian flying public an opportunity to experience shopping at Southeast Asia's biggest and luxourious shopping complex Siam Paragon, to the vibrant Chatuchak weekend market, and everywhere between, all over the city and beyond!

"Nok Air did extensive research before launching our international route to India, and Bangalore being one of the most dynamic and prosperous cities, we expect to see excellent traffic. Beginning June 2007, Nok Air will operate daily flights from Bangkok to Bangalore, using a Boeing 737-400, with a capacity of up to 156 seats. Once in Thailand, Nok Air takes you to all the picturesque and most popular Thai
destinations, including Chiang Mai, Udon Thani, Phuket, Hat Yai, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Krabi, Mae Hong Son, Loei, Pai, Phrae, Chiang Rai and Hua Hin, where one can truly enjoy the riches of Thailand and Thai culture.
