Aerosmith to be in Bangalore for concert

BANGALORE: Rock N' roll fans of Bangalore will be treated to a performance by Aerosmith, one of the most popular bands of this genre, on June two.
The 33 year-old band which has chosen this city for its first ever concert in India, will be regaling the audience with some of their best compositions, including Looks like a lady, Living on the edge, Walk this way, Sweet emotions and Falling in love.
The band, comprising legendary Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Krammer, has over 40 chart-busters to its credit.
The India concert is part of Aerosmith's 2007 world tour. Kicked off on April 12 in Sao Paulo, brazil, the tour will mark the band's first performance outside North America and Japan in eight years, the organisers said.
The Latin America leg will be followed by Eurasia and North America, apart from India, the band will also perform in united Arab Emirates for the first time ever.
The band is being brought to the city by Royal Challenge (United Spirits Limited) in association with DNA Networks.
