BANGALORE: More than 100 volunteers pulled up their pants and got down in Agara lake to clear plastic and other filth in a cleanliness drive jointly organised by Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and Bangalore Environment Trust (BET) on Sunday morning.

Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF), BDA, B Venkatesh said the cleanliness drive would continue for another year.

“We will organise such drives once in three months,” he said. Zafar Futehally of BET, volunteers from Karnataka Forest Department and other organisations were also present.
