BANGALORE: In continuation of enforcement drive taken up by Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP), the basements in Majestic area were cleared on Thursday.

Sukhsagar Mall which housed shops and a restaurant in its basement came under the BMP axe. The enforcement team of the civic body cleared the encroachment.

Commissioner K Jairaj said that enforcement drive of BMP would continue. The civic body has identified major properties which have violated basement parking norms and BMP would ensure compliance, he said.
