BANGALORE: The 4,000-acre Bangalore International Airport premises at Devanahalli will boast of a world-class four-km runway with a width of 60 metres, and the airport project will be completed within the next 16 months, Javeed Shakil, Project Manager, L&T - ECC, Bangalore International Airport Project, said on Thursday.

Delivering a lecture on "Construction of Bangalore International Airport Project" here, Mr. Shakil said the airport would have a passenger terminal building with a pre-cast roof element with 53 entry counters. There would be two facades - north and south in the airport and an air traffic control room with superior facilities.
