The Bangalore Mahanagara Palike is executing the work and is likely to be completed in a month’s time.

Banaswadi traffic police have made certain traffic deviation to facilitate smooth traffic flow due to the widening work of the storm water drain near St Mary’s Church. The work is proposed from the railway lane on Nagawara main road till the Kamaraj Nagar.

The Bangalore Mahanagara Palike is executing the work and is likely to be completed in a month’s time.

Traffic diversion

According to a press release issued here on Saturday, the traffic restriction will come into effect from July 17.

*Vehicle going towards Nagawara from K G Halli have to take a left turn near the St Mary’s Church cross road and enter Jogappa layout, continue in front of Baptist Church and reach the Nagawara road.

* Vehicle heading towards K G Halli from Nagawara have to take a left turn near the Muthu Mariyamma circle and have to go via HBR III block, 9th cross, continue further on BDA Layout road and take a right turn on the 5th cross near the KEB office and continue on the 80th feet road and again take a left turn at the BDA complex and to reach K G Halli.

The motorists can also use 5th cross and can take a right turn opposite the Dhobi Ghat on HBR 1st main road and reach K G Halli.

* Movement of traffic from Dhobi Ghat junction on the HBR layout III block, 5th cross towards the KEB junction is banned.

*Movement of traffic junction from KEB junction on the HBR layout III block, 9th cross towards the Nagawara Main Road is also banned.
