Deccan Herald

Bangalore traffic police have made certain changes in traffic movement on some roads in the Frazer Town traffic police limits to facilitate the on-going construction work of the Railway gate over-bridge near Cox Town.

The new restrictions will come into effect from June 25 next and will stay in force till the work on the over-bridge gets over. The work is expected to be completed within 12 months.

*All traffic coming from Wheeler Road and Banaswadi Main Road will be blocked at the ITC junction near the railway gate. Instead, vehicles can take the Potter Road and move through the Lazer Road under bridge.

* Vehicles entering the railway gate from Wheeler Road and M M Road en route to Wheeler Road layout and Banaswadi Main Road, will be stopped at Cox Town Circle itself.

These vehicles can move ahead on M M Road and take a right turn at Mosque Circle and reach Potter Road via Clarence Circle.

* The vehicular movement plying on Lazer Road in front of Frazer Town traffic police station and M M Road have been prohibited from entering Pottery Road via the railway underbridge.

* The Lazar Road stretch from M M Road-Lazar Road junction to the Anjaneya temple junction has been made one-way and vehicles can’t ply on this stretch from the Anjaneya temple junction to M M Road-Lazar Road junction.

Henceforth, vehicles coming from Sindhi Colony on Buddha Vihar Road will have to stop at Anjaneya temple junction and take the Kenchappa Road to enter M M Road.

*Vehicular movement will be prohibited from MM Road-Kenchappa Road junction to Anjaneya temple junction on Buddha Vihar road.

But traffic flow in the opposite direction on this stretch will be allowed to continue.

* Traffic movement on M M Road from Clarence road junction to M M Road-Mosque road junction has also been banned.

* Parking of all sorts of vehicles has been banned on the north side of Budda Vihar road from Sindhi Colony to Anjaneya temple and Kenchappa Road from Anjaneya temple junction to M M Road.
