BANGALORE: The weather continued to remain cool for a second day on Sunday. Light showers cooled the city further in the evening.

The city recorded a rainfall of 1.2 mm. Heavy rains had lashed the city on Saturday afternoon.

A weather official said light rains or thunder showers were likely on Monday. In the last few days, Bangaloreans have been experiencing hot weather with temperatures touching 36 degree Celsius during the day. Weather experts now say occasional showers are likely over the next few days.
