Bangaloreans will soon get to travel on a pothole-free and anti-skid flyovers. The BDA has planned to have Mobile Metal Flyovers at Shantala circle and Trinity circle.

BDA Commissioner M N Vidyashankar said on Tuesday that they would soon invite tenders for awarding the work at Shantala Circle.

The proposed 380-m long flyover at Shantala circle, based on German technology, is estimated to cost about Rs 24 crore. “Though the cost is a little high, the flyover is hassle-free and user-friendly. It is detachable and can be erected anywhere. It can be installed in two months and will have a maintenance guarantee for 50 years,” the BDA Commissioner said. The officials are preparing a report for the Trinity circle.
