It is not even three days after the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike completed ‘repair work’ on K H Road, one of the worst rain-affected roads in the City, the road was damaged again. The traffic diversions, that were affected on Friday and Saturday, were back in position on Wednesday, this time following a spate of accidents that occurred due to the deteriorating condition of the ‘newly-repaired’ road.

As earlier, traffic from the Richmond Circle flyover has been routed around the BMTC Bus Stand and traffic from the Lalbagh direction has been diverted to the parallel stretch of the road.

Even as chaos ruled at the junctions near the Shanthinagar BMTC Bus Stand following the diversions, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-East) M A Saleem said the traffic diversions will continue for another week.
