The BMP has opened its multi-storeyed vehicle parking complex on JC Road from Wednesday. All the four floors of the building has been opened for parking of vehicles.

Taken up in 1994, the project had hit the first road block in 1996 when the then contractor withdrew from the project after laying the foundation. Later, the Palike had directed the contractors to strengthen the foundation of the complex, when a research by a private firm pointed out that the foundation was weak.
