Bangalore: Citizens are still e a g e rly queuing up to see the draft masterplan 2015 on display at Yavanika.
While crowds have not reached the heady numbers that BDA had to contend with in the first week, numbers have settled down to a steady 4,000 to 6,500 every day, BDA sources said.

Demand is also high for the copies of the draft masterplan which is available in four volumes with each set priced at Rs 5,000.

BDA has sold 50 copies and has got requisitions for 150 more. It has also sold 600 CDs (priced at Rs 100 each) of the masterplan. BDA had sold 32 copies of the masterplan on Saturday alone to developers and architects who are into town planning. People can place requests for the draft masterplan at the BDA head office on T. Chowdaiah Road. Demolition: BDA recovered a 60X40 ft site near Havanur Circle worth Rs 1 crore in an early-morning operation on Thursday.

According to an official note, the owner of a Pavithra Paradise hotel on site no. 463, III Stage, III Block, West of Chord Road, had "encroached on the neighbouring BDA property and constructed an unauthorised A/C sheet building on that site.''
BDA task force carried out the demolition with help from the local police, the note added.
