Citizens' Meeting on 18th on tree felling

Monday (18 April)
11 am at Cash Pharmacy, Residency Road

Our excellent and collective efforts ensured that felling across Bangalore has stopped, for the present. Mr. Parameshwar, DFO, Forest Dept has acted late this evening in writing to the Commissioner BMP that felling must stop till further orders. It was too late in the day for us to get a copy.

We must continue our pressure and we need to meet. We request you all to come on Monday (18 April) 11 am at Cash Pharmacy, Residency Road to ensure this present action is effectively followed. Please communicate this widely, and do please come with a few hours to spare so we may meet relevant officers and ensure effective action follows.
