National College flyover ready by May, says CM

Flyovers will be constructed at Yeshwantpur Circle, Minerva Circle and at Kanakapura Road-Ring Road junction, while Rail over Bridges (RoB) will be constructed at Byappanahalli, near ITC factory, Mathikere and Gangondanahalli, Chief Minister N Dharam Singh informed the Legislative Council on Thursday.

Work on the projects will be taken up by Bangalore Mahanagara Palike. The RoBs will be taken up with the assistance of Railways. The Bangalore Development Authority has commenced civil works on the Rs 491 crore hi-tech City off Sarjapur Road, Mr Singh said.

Mr Singh said that five flyovers have been completed by the BDA, while four have been completed by the BMP. Work on the National College flyover will be completed by May 2005.
