Are you bugged with red-tapism in the BMP? Is any official asking you for a bribe to issue a khatha certificate or birth certificate or a building plan? Just call on Mayor R Narayanaswamy during the office hours.

The mayor on Thursday announced that he will meet the general public, who have any problem in getting any work done in the BMP, during the office hours at his office and solve their problems.

“Of late there is an increase in the number of complaints on corruption and red tapism and citizens are finding it tough to get their work done. So I have decided to keep my doors open for citizens who have genuine problems,” he said.
