Dharam is all talk and no action

Investors won’t leave Karnataka: Dharam
Times of India

New Delhi: Apparently shaken by reports that investors were not happy with the way the Congress-JD(S) government was functioning, Karnataka CM N. Dharam Singh said here on Thursday that despite occasional “hiccups” in running a coalition, his government has been implementing all infrastructure development projects to maintain Bangalore as a favourite destination for investors.

He said the government was committed to working towards providing a congenial atmosphere to investors.
Jolted by repeated threats from IT, bio-tech and other firms to pull out of the state, the CM, accompanied by a team of senior state officials, made an elaborate presentation on various development works being undertaken to improve the conditions in Bangalore.

Admitting that investors were not satisfied with the state of affairs, Singh said: “I have personally discussed with them. They are very happy. Nobody will leave Bangalore and whatever facilities are needed will be provided by the government.”
