Hosur Road breathes easy, HTVs wait at peak hours

BANGALORE: Commuters using Hosur Road are now breathing free with staggered operative time for the heavy transport vehicles (HTV) especially, trucks. A ban on the entry of trucks on this road during peak hours has helped commuters reach their destinations on time, while also enabling them reach their homes quite early.

President of Electronics City Association, H. Prakash Rao stated in a release that the measure had restored people’s confidence on the Government.

He also hoped that diverting Heavy Transport Vehicles from Attibele to Srjapur onto National Highway 207 would provide a long-term solution for the problem.

The association had included the staggering timings for entry of HTVs as one of its recommendations to the Government last month.
