BMP razes Mantri's Sankey project to the ground

Latest developments on the Mantri Group's project on the banks of the Sankey Lake:


Yesterday night in a secret meeting, the BCC Commissioner,Forest department head and the BDA top officials along with the police met up.

Today morning By 5 AM the complete BCC team armed with bulldozers and gas welding marched into the disputed area near Sankey Tank and razed the sheets being discreetly erected all around the place and the complete 4 bedroom model apartment(it was being shown to prospective buyers) was demolished.

At 10.30 AM the Hony Lok Ayukta also inspected the spot.
By evening the issue was brought up in the council meeting.

On the other hand at the recently held Investors meet under MANTRI when one of the investor asked the top boss of mantri developers about the NGO’s raising their concerns on environment, lake etc.

The top man in mantri had confidently announced that “ we will buy them or silence them” referring to NGO's.
