Traffic gridlocks

Traffic gridlocks

Staff Reporter
Bangalore:People can expect traffic gridlocks in the city centre, particularly around the Vidhana Soudha once Namma Metro commences construction of the Vidhana Soudha and Minsk Square underground stations.

BMRCL will close down the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, the stretch of Cubbon Road between Minsk Square and B.R.V. Parade Grounds, and the stretch of Raj Bhavan Road between Minsk Square and Police Thimmaiah Circle.

As these arterial routes connect different parts of the city, their closure is expected to pose challenges to road users as well as traffic managers.

Along with closure of roads, Bangaloreans can expect clouds of dust at the construction sites when the earth is excavated for the underground train stations.
