BTC to stay as lung space
Bangalore, March 9, DHNS:

The State government will retain the Race Course as a lung space in its present condition.


Advocate General Ashok Harnahalli during the hearing of a petition on Tuesday submitted before the High Court that the Government cannot allot alternative land to the Bangalore Turf Club. He denied that a highrise building has been planned over the Race Course. BTC submitted that the future of over 5,000 employees will be at stake if alternative land is not provided. The matter has been adjourned.
