Elevated highway to be opened on Friday

BANGALORE: The 9.5-km elevated highway on Hosur Road will be thrown open to traffic on January 22. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Kamal Nath will participate in the function.

In light of this event, the city police have asked motorists to exercise caution while using the elevated highway and avoid accidents. Motorists have been asked to make use of the two lanes available in each of direction and maintain lane discipline. “Vehicles should stick to the lanes. Overtaking is a strict no,” said Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Praveen Sood.
