BANGALORE: Residents of J.P. Nagar protested against the slow completion of work of the 15th cross underpass in Bommanahalli, here on Monday, and demanded that the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) accelerate its pace of work on the underpass immediately.

Over 100 residents and members of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), from various localities in and around J.P. Nagar and areas like Sarakki Kere, Puttenahalli, gathered at the underpass asking that their problems be heard.

They said owing to the delay in construction, BMTC buses had not been plying in the area for the past two years.
