BTC to get land for re-location

BANGALORE : The State Government , in principle, has agreed to allot 100 acres of land in Chikkajala/ Doddajala, on the highway to the new airport, for re-location of race course, according to a press release from S. Nirmal Prasad, Secretary, Bangalore Turf Club Ltd.

Mr. Prasad said that club chairman P.V. Shetty met Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa to discuss the matter at length on March 12. The Chief Minister has agreed to grant a tax moratorium for five years.
