Bangalore:
Bangalore citizens will have an official website to monitor the city's infrastructure work.
Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa announced that the government would launch a website www.nammabengaluru.com within a week. It will have the details of all the ongoing infrastructure projects. Citizens can get an update of particular projects or even leave their comments and suggestions on them.
CM was speaking to reporters after a visit to six areas in the city. "The initiative of the government is to involve people in the city's development," he said. He added the pending projects will be completed within March.
Yeddyurappa inspected the development of projects on Magadi Road, Toll Gate, Nayandahalli, Yelahanka, the BDA Ring road and the metro work.
He said he would go around the city once a week to personally supervise the infrastructure development.
