Oman Air begins operations from BIA

Oman Air on Monday announced the launch of a five times-a-week-flight to Bangalore from Muscat and vice-versa. The flights began its operations from BIA.

The airline, will be operated by a Boeing 737/800 aircraft and leave Muscat every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Announcing the commencement of the flight here on Monday, Darwish Bin Ismail Al Balushi, secretary general of the Ministry of Finance, Sultanate of Oman said, “The launch of the destination will open up new opportunities for people travelling between Muscat and the South of India. The launch will offer 11,555 airline seats a week,” he added. To be functional from the BIA the flight will leave Muscat at 21.00 hrs and arrive in Bangalore at 01.50 hrs.

In the return direction, the flight will leave BIA every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 2.50 hrs and arrive at Muscat at 04.40 hrs.
