Three new grade separators will be ready by March

Bangalore: To ease congestion on busy roads connecting the east and north of the city, the BDA said it will throw open the three grade separators from January.
Speaking after the inauguration of the much-awaited Ramamurthynagar grade separator, BDA commissioner M K Shankarlinge Gowda announced that the Marathahalli grade separator will be inaugurated as a New Year gift.
Grade separators at Magadi Road-Chord Road and Magadi Road-Mysore Road junctions will be ready by February and March respectively.
Work on three other projects, including grade separator at Iblur and Agara Junction, and five mega layout projects, is likely to begin in January, he said.
Inaugurating the grade separator, governor Rameshwar Thakur said it would help commuters from Ramamurthynagar, Hebbal, Old Madras Road, Banaswadi, KR Puram, Outer Ring Road and surrounding areas.
