Bangalore: The legendary Scorpions promise nothing less than to “Rock You Like a Hurricane” on Sunday. The German band will perform here this weekend as part of its Humanity World Tour.

Scorpions fans were treated to the iconic band’s latest album “Humanity - Hour I” in May and they ensured that it became an instant worldwide hit. This album came 35 years after they hit global headlines with their debut album “Lonesome Crow” in 1972.

In all these years, the Scorpions have produced some of the most popular albums such as “In Trance”, “Tokyo Tapes”, “Animal Magnetism”, “Savage Amusement”, “Face the Heat”, “Eye to Eye”, “Moment of Glory” and “Unbreakable”. And they continue to fill the biggest stadiums every year. The Scorpions were recently invited by the Russian President for a concert in Kremlin – an honour granted to few Western artistes. To Scorpions frontman Klaus Meine, “direct contact with our fans is our biggest source of inspiration.” He adds that music has been an integral part of the band’s communication with the youth. The concert will begin at 5.30 p.m. at Palace Grounds on December 16. For tickets, log on to www.bookmyshow.com.
