BBMP has urged all citizens to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in Bangalore city during Ayudha pooja and Vijaya Dashmi. The BBMP Commissioner, Dr S Subramanya has appealed to the citizens to maintain cleanliness and sanitation during the festivals.

The vending of pooja and other materials, eatables on foot paths, dumping of waste, unauthorised construction of arches on roads, putting of bunting and banners with out permission, letting out dirty water on roads after cleaning vehicles, hotels and houses may cause hindrance to maintain cleanliness in the city.
