BIAL officials meet Minister

Senior officials of the Bangalore International Airport Limited [BIAL] on Wednesday called on Civil aviation minister Praful Patel and held discussions over the greenfield airport fast coming up at Devanahalli near the city. Those who met the minister included the BIAL CEO Albert Brunner and two officials of the Zurich Airport, which is a partner in the consortium constructing the Rs 1900 crore airport.

The minister had last week visited the airport under construction. The visit came after the ministry had expressed dissatisfaction over the design of the airport. The airport is slated for opening in April, 2008.
