BMTC set to issue passes

Passes will be issued at Kempegowda, Shivajinagar and Shantinagar bus stations. Passes will be in the form of smart cards from this year.


The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will begin issuing student concessional passes to primary, secondary and high school students from June 5 between 8 am and 7 pm on all working days.

Passes will be issued at Kempegowda, Shivajinagar and Shantinagar bus stations. Passes will be in the form of smart cards from this year.

Application forms will be available at all major bus stations free of cost from June 1. Photocopies of application forms, including those downloaded from the website and attested will be accepted.

The passes will also be issued at Jayanagar depot, Banashankari, Kumaraswamy Layout, MCTC bus station (Mysore Road), Kengeri, Chandra Layout, Srinagar, Rajajinagar, Basaveshwaranagar, Nandini Layout, RPC Layout, Vijayanagar, Yeshwantpur, Yelahanka Satellite Town, Nelamangala,Mathikere, Vidyaranyapura, Malleshwaram, R T Nagar, Kaval Byrasandra, Kalyannagar, Halasoor, K R Puram, Domlur, Jeevanbheema Nagar, Koramangala Depot, Electronic City, BTM Layout and Neelsandra.
