Fourth McDonald's outlet opens in Gopalan Mall

McDonald’s gradually steps up market penetration

BANGALORE: A new McDonald’s outlet opened at the Gopalan Mall recently.

This is the fourth McDonald’s in the City and is indicative of the brand’s successful penetration into the local market.

The fast food chain also boasts of the very first McDonald’s kiosk in the Southern market. This Kiosk will enable customers to beat the summer heat with a unique range of 100 per cent vegetarian desserts and chilled beverages. ‘‘We are elated to add yet another ‘Golden Arches’ to the Garden City of Bangalore,’’ said Amit Jain, joint venture partner and managing director, McDonald’s, India (West & South region).

He further added, ‘‘The eating-out market in Bangalore is very large and has a huge potential which is fuelled, of course, by what can be? termed as a perfect ingredient for any industry large disposable incomes.

The market has been witnessing a marked growth in consumption patterns, especially in terms of food.’’
