Summer this year is not even fully on, but Bangaloreans are already feeling the heat, alright. However, the City known for its teasing weather conditions has been caught off guard with, in the past three days, its denizens experiencing the City’s trademark cool weather of yesteryear.

What’s more, while many were smiling, having smelt the freshness of the unanticipated rains. (The City actually witnessed light showers in some parts like the Peenya industrial area, on Sunday morning.)

The Met department said it had recorded .3mm at H D Kote on Sunday, while a ‘spray’ of rainfall was recorded on Monday evening. It said this trace amount of non-significant rainfall was the last of the winter showers.

While the normal temperature is between 30 and 18 degree celsius for winter months, any fluctuations here are considered normal. The Department also said that the cooler temperatures on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, were a result of day-time cloudy skies.

The City recorded a minimum temperature of 19 degree celsius and a maximum of 29 degree celsius on Monday. The Department said summer would be on full blast from March 1 onward.
