Gopalan Mall on Mysore Road serves as Namma Mall
New Indian Express
BANGALORE: The Gopalan Mall is the new addition to the mall wagon in the city, except that this mall is not in the heart of the city but on the outskirts.
Gopalan Mall, the first mall on the crowded Mysore Road, is an ideal shopping destination for people commuting from Mysore to Bangalore.
With the theme Namma Mall, Gopalan Mall provides all commodities at reasonable prices to consumers.
With the city undergoing rapid development and urbanisation, the public is being wooed with various malls that offer complete entertainment to the entire family. The shift of focus from the central part of the city to the outskirts has become more obvious with the speedy development that is taking place in faraway places.
Shopping is not confined to central hubs like Brigade Road or Koramangala. They are, instead, at places where people need them most.
As the city is exploding with urbanisation, catering to the needs of the people has become of great importance. Unequal development is not the scenario anymore, as equal importance is given to the outskirts of the city as well. Be it the connecting ring roads or the corporate offices on the outskirts, the city as a whole is not neglected.
Changes are being accepted by the people and promoted in the interest of the people.

What a futuristic name for a mall?
GOPALAN MALL.
Wish it was called GOPALAN S/O GOPALANAPPA MALL so that I could recommend this mall to all of my not so sophisticated friends.
What is not sophisticated about Gopalan? Why should anyone be ashamed of names which are Indian and reflect our heritage?

Can someone give the exact location of the Gopalan Mall. I really don't knw where it is on Mysore road. Any landmarks / map will help.
rohintonw@hotmail.com
It's near the BMTC Bus Terminus on Mysore Road (not to be mistaken for the Big Bazaar in the terminus itself)
hey is there any theatre in gopalan mall
The mall is just for shopping and fun not for the relax (Theatre).
you can find the games zone in the 3rd floor
Majority are factory outlets
Resturants with wide space
You can enjoy the shopping
BTW, who says this is outskirts? This is very much the heart of the city. Distance of less than 5k from the MG road makes this point all the more stronger. People who think Koramangala is the heart of the city, it is time you know the other(older) part of Bangalore too!
About multiplex, they claim that ADLABS would open a 3 screen multiplex here by this year-end.
Yes, the mall is a nice experience overall.
Adlabs will be opening a 3 Screen Multiplex by Q1 2009.
Very poor management, there is no security system in place. I lost my CAR mirror
