FOLLOWING a news item "Inconsistent City Taxi fares leave commuters paying more" that was published in Vijay Times on June 29, the Legal Metrology department is undertaking verifications and stamping of fare meters of City Taxis in accordance with the authorized tariff prescribed by the Regional Transport Authority Terming the report in Vijay Times as an eye-opener to the gullible commuters, the Controller of Legal Metro appealed the public in general and commuters in pa ular to lodge a complaint in such cases where they forced to pay more by calling 22207750 or through email to clm@kslmd.com.
