For once, the chaos at the City’s nerve centre on Tuesday had an endearing air to it. The M G Road-Brigade road junction brimmed over with love on Valentine’s Day, triggering a major traffic jam for nearly an hour from 7:45 pm.

It appeared like all of the City roads led to M G Road-Brigade Road. Cupid struck couples promenaded down the two roads, cosying up, flaunting ma-ny a insignia of love... red roses, gifts and soft toys. DCP (Traffic) Saleem told Deccan Herald that it was common that people prefer to land on M G Road and Brigade Road during important days and Tuesday being Valentine’s Day there is nothing to get shocked.

“We have handled New Year’s eve and other festival days. These are no problem”, he added.
