Bangalore: Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy will on Friday inaugurate the flyover at Ananda Rao Circle.
The flyover, constructed by BDA, has a five-lane undivided stretch up to Ananda Rao Circle, a twolane one-way down ramp towards Basaveshwara circle and a four-lane oneway flyover along Seshadri road crossing Ananda Rao Circle and Subbanna Circle.
The project, estimated to cost Rs 24 crore, has been executed by Simplex Concrete Piles.
Traffic studies show Ananda Rao Circle as the most congested area in the city requiring immediate attention.
Seshadri Road, Subedhar Chatram Road and Loop Road are the three roads intersecting at the circle. Traffic from railway station, bus station and Rajajinagar move along Khoday’s Circle and pass through Seshadri road.
