HC admits plea to open Devaraja Urs Road

The Karnataka High Court has admitted a plea by a group of lawyers seeking the reopening of the Devaraja Urs Road which was closed by the erstwhile S.M.Krishna admininstration to develop a garden between the Vidhana Soudha and the Vikasa Soudha. The arterial road which links Gopala Gowda Circle to Basaweshvara Circle, if reopened would ease traffic woes in the area considerably.
